Build: Jonah is slight of build, and about 5’7”. He often seems shorter due to a habit of
slouching and eats little, lending him a thin, drawn look.
Features: Jonah is dark haired like most Flintblack
men. He has a disheveled appearance with
slightly wild eyes, unruly hair and usually sports several days’ worth of
whiskers. He sports a long scar down his
right arm from the shoulder to just past the elbow. His hands are delicate and nimble from
working with various intricate tasks.
Dress: Jonah’s typical dress consists of denim pants and a hooded
sweatshirt, of which he seems to have many.
In public, he wears his hood up and often wears sunglasses even
indoors. In private, he works or lounges
in a dark t-shirt.
Demeanor: Jonah doesn’t seem like much of a people person. Sometimes he might be focusing just over your shoulder or right behind you. Sometimes, he stares not at you but into you. He’s just a bit unnerving, and seems more than a little jumpy. On top of that, he’s reticent, rarely offering much conversation on his own. Background: Everybody’s got a history right? Well, they must, but Jonah doesn’t seem to be telling. And it’s surprisingly difficult to find much mention of him, at least in Chicago. There is a well known family of Flintblacks out East isn’t there? Probably no relation.
Jonah doesn’t seem to work and comes and goes from his apartment at odd hours. He seems to keep mostly to himself although he is sometimes spotted browsing through rare or used bookstores in Chicago’s north side.
